Following a pilot project, SCA has now decided to move forward with AI-based camera solutions. SCA Forest is the first business area to implement the technology at its wood terminals.

The fiberline project at Östrand has reached the finish line
The fiberline project at Östrand is now complete. During the annual maintenance shutdown, the final work was carried out before startup, marking the completion of one of SCA’s larger projects this year.

Three unique wooden shelters have taken shape in the forests of northern Sweden during this year’s Arknat architecture festival. Using timber from SCA Wood Scandinavia, architecture students from across Europe explored the potential of wood, creating sustainable structures that bring together nature, design and innovation.
