Internship in SCA's forests operations

We offer internships throughout the entire operational area of SCA Forest, stretching from Söderhamn in the south to Jokkmokk in the north. We welcome applications from students enrolled in upper secondary natural resource management programs specializing in forest machinery, as well as those pursuing university or vocational studies in forestry-related fields.

We are looking for interns who want to get to know SCA Forest and gain experience combining theoretical knowledge with practical work in the forest, guided by our experienced and skilled employees.

As an intern, you will gain insight into SCA Forest’s operations and become part of the daily work, with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop. We value curiosity and engagement and hope that you can contribute new perspectives to our work.

Our forestry operations are located throughout northern Sweden, with offices in more than 40 locations. Internship opportunities are primarily available within our Production and Forest Management functions.

Forestry is at the core of SCA’s business, and we own 2.6 million hectares of land in northern Sweden. SCA Forest is responsible for managing our own forests, harvesting operations, and purchasing timber from private forest owners. We also supply raw materials to SCA’s industrial operations.

We offer a wide variety of career paths, including timber buyer, production manager, forest management supervisor, silviculture specialist, conservation specialist, forest machine operator, transport coordinator, business development specialist, and many more.
