Fasikan
In 2023, SCA has acquired the licensed wind power project Fasikan Vind AB from Arise AB, which is located on SCA land in Bräcke municipality, Jämtland county.
The project includes the construction of 15 turbines that will be delivered by Nordex. The total installed power will be 105 MW with an estimated production of 333 GWh, which corresponds to an annual consumption of electricity for approximately 15,000 households.
Arise AB is responsible for construction of the wind farm, which will begin in November 2023 and the park is expected to be in operation at the beginning of 2026.

Project update
During the fall of 2024, we reached several key milestones in the construction of Fasikan wind farm.
All 15 foundations for the wind turbines are now complete, and the crane platforms needed for installation are ready. This means that the sites for the wind turbines are fully prepared for their delivery.
The internal power grid within the wind farm is installed, and the work to connect the wind farm to the regional grid in Ånge has started. This includes building the substation and the power line between Fasikan and the connection point.
All roads within the project area are finished and have been tested to ensure safe and efficient transport and installations.
The turbine parts have been manufactured and will be delivered to Fasikan in the spring. They will be shipped to Sundsvall port by boat and then transported to Fasikan by truck.
During the winter of 2024/2025, work on the substation and power line will continue.
So far, the construction of Fasikan is on schedule, and the commissioning is planned to the end of year 2025/start of 2026.

This equals the consumption of electricity of 900 electrically heated houses that have average electricity consumption of 20,000 KWh/year or the annual electricity consumption of 7,500 electric cars (estimated electricity consumption: approximately 2,400 kWh/year).
