SCA is cooperating with start-ups through the Forest Business Accelerator. The Accelerator, which merges forest development with digitalization and entrepreneurship, is a joint venture between SCA, IBM, RISE Processum and the Bizmaker business incubator.

Skogsnäringen och Komatsu Forest har tillsammans utvecklat en ny skogsmaskin för ett mer skonsamt skogsbruk. Konceptmaskinen Centipede är med sin innovativa teknik byggd för att möta skogsbrukets utmaningar och har tre viktiga fördelar: Lägre marktryck, ökad produktivitet och bättre arbetsmiljö.
Arcwise® is a unique packaging technology that for the first time entails curved shaped corrugated board packaging. The technology provides premiumization of packaging and attraction in point of sale. At the same time, Arcwise® has a significant lightweighting potential, which can substantially reduce carbon footprint.
SCA and Scania have together developed the first electric timber truck with a technical capability of up to 80 tonnes total weight. The vehicle is a sustainable transport solution and another step towards fossil-free society.
SCA, Sekab, RISE and RISE Processum have in the Lignosize project worked together with the idea of replacing today's fossil-based hydrophobing agents in the production of paper.
