SCA's tissue acquisition in US completed

SCA's tissue acquisition in US completed Following approval by the US competition authorities of SCA's acquisition of parts of Georgia-Pacific's assets within Away-From-Home (AFH) tissue, this transaction was concluded on Friday, 2 March 2001. The earnings of the new operations will be consolidated in SCA's accounts from and including the second quarter. The reason is that the financial accounting of the operations must first be adapted to SCA accounting principles and that the definitive acquisition balance will be completed during the second quarter. This balance sheet will be the basis for the final reconciliation of the purchase price.
