Sverker Martin-Löf to continue as President and CEO of SCA The pace of the SCA Group's growth has accelerated. Most recently, SCA has carried out several acquisitions and announced that there are currently a number of strategically attractive acquisition targets in its core hygiene products and packaging operations. If acquisitions terms can be reached that meet the Group's financial goals, financing has been secured through the planned new issue that will be presented to an Extraordinary General Meeting for a decision on 21 September 1999. In order to ensure continuity during this process at the operating management level, SCA's Board of Directors and President Sverker Martin-Löf have concluded that the previously planned management shift in SCA should not be carried out. Accordingly, Board Chairman Bo Rydin has stated that he is willing to continue as Chairman.
