SCA to merge Graphic Paper and Forest and Timber business areas In connection with the transfer of SCA's fine papers operations to the newly established company Modo Paper AB jointly owned with MoDo, the SCA Graphic Paper business area will be streamlined to focus on publication papers, as represented by newsprint, SC and LWC paper. As a result of this change, SCA has decided to coordinate the operations of the Graphic Paper business area with those of the Forest and Timber business area. This will enable the Group's management resources to be utilized in a more optimal manner, at the same time as the industrial links between raw materials supplies and industrial operations are strengthened. The new business area will be named SCA Forest Products and as such will become responsible for all Group forestry and sawmill operations, the internal production of pulp (kraft and CTMP) and publication paper operations. The business area will be located in Sundsvall. Kenneth Eriksson, currently president of SCA Graphic Paper, has been appointed president of the new SCA Forest Products business area, while Jerker Karlsson, currently president of SCA Forest and Timber, has been appointed deputy and executive vice president.
