SCA acquisition of Rexam Corrugated Division approved by Special General Meeting of Rexam PLC shareholders A special General Meeting of Rexam PLC shareholders today approved SCA's acquisition of Rexam Corrugated Division. The Division, which has annual sales of approximately GBP 202 M, is being purchased for around GBP 195 M. A decision regarding EU approval of the transaction is expected from the EC merger regulation authority by 11 February 1999 at the latest.
