SCA acquires shareholding in Metsa Tissue

SCA acquires shareholding in Metsa Tissue SCA has acquired 11.17 % of the shares (10.81 after dilution) in the Finnish, listed hygiene paper company Metsa Tissue, with operations in the Nordic countries, Germany and Poland. The acquisition of this minority shareholding should be considered against the background of SCA's assessment that tissue, at least in the long term, will not constitute part of Metsä-Serla's core operations. In acquiring this shareholding, SCA is making clear its strong interest in participating in a potential transfer process.
