Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA (publ) on May 8, 2018 established a Medium Term Note program (MTN) with a loan framework amounting to SEK 8 billion. In connection with the annual update in 2026, SCA’s Board of Directors has resolved to increase the borrowing limit from SEK 8 billion to SEK 12 billion to ensure flexibility and diversification in the financing.

SCA and Petteri Kalela have agreed that Kalela will leave his role as Head of Business Areas Containerboard and Pulp.
“I would like to extend my warm thanks to Petteri for his valuable contributions and strong commitment to SCA during his time with us, and wish him every success in his future career,” says SCA’s President and CEO, Ulf Larsson.
Until a new Head of Business Area is appointed, President and CEO Ulf Larsson will serve as interim Head of Business Areas Containerboard and Pulp. Kalela will leave his role on 30 January 2026 and will, together with the company, ensure a robust transition process.
The process to recruit a new Head of the Business Areas will begin immediately.
