Planned Chairman and President shift at SCA in 2000

  • Regulatory press release

Planned Chairman and President shift at SCA in 2000 With reference to SCA President Sverker Martin-Löf being proposed as new Chairman of the Board of AGA, SCA's Board Chairman Bo Rydin comments as follows: "The reason that Sverker Martin-Löf is considered to be able to assume the duties as Chairman of AGA is that it is intended that his work situation within SCA will change as of the Annual General Meeting in 2000. I have notified the major shareholders that I intend at that time to resign from SCA's Board. Consequently, the members of the Board have announced that they intend to elect Sverker Martin-Löf as the new Chairman of SCA. This selection is also supported by the major shareholders. The Board considers that it will be able to present a new president of SCA in adequate time prior to the Annual General Meeting in 2000.
