SCA has been awarded the highest rating – A – in Position Green’s ESG ranking of the 100 largest companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. This means that SCA’s financial reporting is judged to be exceptional.

ESG stands for environment, social and governance, and refers to the three key factors for measuring sustainability and ethical risk.

In its report ESG 100: Data for Decision-Makers, Position Green, supplier of ESG software and consultancy services in Scandinavia, has evaluated the Stockholm stock market’s 100 largest companies based on a total of 14 criteria linked to environment, social responsibility and corporate governance.

SCA was rated A on a scale where A is the highest grade and F being the lowest. According to the grading system, an A rating means: “Exceptional reporting in line with best practice. Good description of essential issues and relevant data. There is also a clear strategy with specific and quantifiable goals.”

“Sustainability is integrated across our operations; it is a key part of SCA’s business concept, and the group’s sustainability platform clearly shows how we contribute directly and indirectly to achieving the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We have integrated our sustainability report into our annual report to illustrate how sustainability is an integral part of our business,” says Hans Djurberg, Sustainability Director at SCA.
