For the fourth year, the Swedish business daily Dagens Industri and magazine Aktuell Hållbarhet, together with Lund University, have ranked Swedish companies' based on their sustainability work.

SCA is ranked fourth overall in comparison with all reviewed companies, and in second place in the category "Materials". A clear improvement in terms of the review in 2020.

Sustainability is a natural part of our business model, as we produce climate smart and resource efficient products made from raw material from our forest.

“We have strengthened our sustainability agenda by establishing a set of corporate targets for 2030, including significant growth of our positive climate impact and improved precision in forest biodiversity conservation”, says Hans Djurberg, head of sustainability at SCA.

The different categories are: “Capital goods”, “Groceries”, “Consumer goods and clothing” and “Materials”. In addition, banks and investment companies are included. The assessment is based on a questionnaire as well as an audited report.

At Dagens Industri's website (in Swedish), you will find the entire list of how well companies have performed.
