SCA publishes Annual Report for 2025
- Regulatory press release
SCA today publishes the company’s Annual Report for 2025.
By combining a strong industrial base with a high degree of self-sufficiency in wood raw material, energy, and logistics, SCA has managed to maintain a stable EBITDA margin of 32.1 percent despite the challenging global market.
Strategic investments in growing segments – such as renewable packaging paper, pulp production, and biofuels – have now been completed, and over the past year the company has focused heavily on optimizing production in order to reach full capacity in the coming years.
In 2025, SCA delivered a climate benefit – through carbon sequestration in forests and products, as well as through substitution effects and low fossil emissions – corresponding to 12 million tonnes of CO₂-equivalents. SCA continues to aim at expanding its forest resource, both through sustainable forest management and through acquiring and developing forest land in the Baltics. The growing forest holding ensures SCA’s long-term access to wood raw material and strengthens the company’s ability to achieve increased positive climate effects through expanding forests and a larger volume of renewable products with the potential to replace more emission-intensive alternatives.
The Annual Report is available at www.sca.com. Printed copies will begin to be distributed to shareholders and other stakeholders from 23 March 2026.
The Annual Report is published in accordance with the reporting requirements of the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). In line with ESEF requirements, the financial statements have been provided with XBRL tags. The ESEF files can be downloaded at www.sca.com.
