Preparations for FIS Cross-Country World Cup Falun 2026 are in full swing, and it is now confirmed that SCA is joining as a new partner of the event. The partnership builds on SCA’s established role in Swedish cross-country skiing, where the company is also a Climate and Team Partner of Ski Team Sweden Cross Country.
“We are very pleased to welcome SCA to FIS Cross-Country World Cup Falun 2026. SCA is a long-term actor with a clear commitment to cross-country skiing, and through its partnership with the national team, the company is already contributing to the sport’s development. Having SCA with us in Falun as well feels both natural and highly valuable”, says Patrik Blomquist, Commercial Director for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Falun 2027.
The collaboration means that SCA becomes part of an international event that brings together the world’s elite and large audiences, both on-site and via TV.
“For us, the connection is obvious. The forest is the natural arena of cross-country skiing, and it holds a power that drives both performance and belief in the future. As a partner of Ski Team Sweden Cross Country, and now also of FIS Cross-Country World Cup Falun 2026, we want to contribute to an event that combines world-class sport, sustainable development and strong local roots”, says Anders Edholm, SVP Sustainability and Communications at SCA.
FIS Cross-Country World Cup Falun 2026 is expected to be an event of the highest international standard and an important part of the build-up to the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun 2027.
