“Since we started up our new mill, Östrand pulp mill, in 2018, we’ve been continuously working to improve strength properties. Now we’re seeing the results. In 2024, tensile strength reached 95 kNm/kg (at 25◦SR). Naturally, we’re pleased with this development, but we’re always striving to further improve our pulp quality,” says Jessica Sjöberg, Product Manager for SCA Pure (NBSK).

“In our northern forests, located in the colder parts of Scandinavia, the trees grow slowly – a natural process that produces the exceptionally strong Nordic fibres we rely on. These fibres are then treated gently and with care throughout the entire production chain, which is key to delivering a strong, consistent, high-quality pulp of world-class standard. Moreover, our premium pulp is available to all, with both ECF and TCF options offered across our entire production," Jessica continues.
“But premium pulp alone isn’t enough – it’s the people behind it that make the real difference. Stability and trust are what we’re built on, and it’s something we genuinely want to share with our customers. We’re a small, committed team that takes pride in being reliable, easy to work with, and always there when you need us. No matter where you are in the world, we’re here to offer great service and the flexibility to meet your needs”.
“With SCA Pulp, you’re not just getting premium pulp – you’re gaining a partner you can rely on, not only today, but for the long haul, Jessica concludes”.
