In production and processes, operators ensure that our facilities run in an optimal way. This work is carried out both from control rooms and directly at the machines. Operations follow various shift patterns, with long periods of time off in between. There are operators specializing in areas such as energy, pulp, fiber, sawmills, recovery boilers, and steam plants.

Maintenance is essential to keep our machines running around the clock with high quality. In maintenance, we work both on resolving operational disruptions, conducting preventive maintenance, and carrying out improvement initiatives. We have a central maintenance organization in the Sundsvall area, as well as local maintenance teams at several of our units. Some examples of roles include electrical and automation technicians, industrial electricians, maintenance engineers, and high-voltage engineers.
