Problem-solving and technology in constant focus
Maintenance is a central part of daily operations and development at the sawmill. Here, the focus is on problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvements. For production to run smoothly, reliable technology is needed, and people with strong technical expertise.
No sawmill can function without maintenance. Here lies the quiet machinery behind the heavy machinery – a job that isn’t always visible, but whose absence is immediately felt. If you enjoy solving problems, thinking ahead, and making a difference with your hands, mind, and heart, maintenance is the right place for you.
Working in maintenance at a sawmill combines a passion for technology with a sense of responsibility. It’s about keeping production running while staying one step ahead. You repair, improve, and prevent – sometimes deep inside the machines, sometimes by analyzing data and proposing changes. A motor failure causing a halt, a sensor that needs calibration, or a planned overhaul that stabilizes the entire line – no two days are the same.
Prevent, improve, and develop
Whether your focus is mechanics, electricity, automation, or analysis, maintenance is a place where technology never stands still. Industrial electricians, maintenance mechanics, automation engineers, and many others work here – all with a shared goal: to create a production that is safe, efficient, and sustainable.
You work closely with production, finding solutions together that make a difference – both in the short and long term. Some days are about urgent interventions, others about systematic planning. Both are equally important.
Part of something bigger
By ensuring production runs efficiently and reliably, you help make it possible to deliver wood products with low climate impact for a world that needs them. In a maintenance role, you contribute to the bigger picture and ensure the entire operation keeps running smoothly.
