Placement and recommended size

The logo placement is determined by the Layout System, see page Layout system.

Standard placement

Portrait and landscape orientation.

Aspect ratio

For rectangular formats, the recommended size of the logo is not more than 1/5 of the format’s width.

Centered logo and maximum size

In exceptional cases, the logo may be centered both sideways and lengthways. For example, on an intro page, final frame of a film or as a single sender. The recommend size is then 1/3 of the format’s width.

A centered logo can also be used on flags, banners and banderoles, for example. The maximum size is then determined by the logo’s clear space. See Logo, Lockups.

Centered placement – size

With a centered placement on an intro page or the final frame of a film, for example, the size of the logo should not be larger than 1/3 of the format’s width.

Centered placement – maximum size

With a centered logo on banderoles, for example, where a maximum size is desired – use the logo’s clear space as guidance.

Logo with message and maximum size

On formats that require a shorter message or image with an extra distinctive sender, such as banners or stadium signs, 1/3 of the format’s width and the logo’s clear space are used as guidance. See  Logo, Lockups. The logo is centered vertically.

* Printing method permitting.

Placement and size

When a logo is combined with a short message and maximum size is required, the size of the logo should not be more than 1/3 of the format’s width. Use the logo’s clear space as guidance for distance to the edges.
