Community Partnerships and Service

SCA employees and teams engage in many events, fundraising and service activities throughout the year to show their commitment to the communities in which they live and work. Here is a snapshot of just some of the community activities we’re involved with:

  • SCA's North American tissue division donated more than $200,000 worth of Tork wiper products to Gifts In Kind International to be used by nonprofit and grassroots volunteer groups to aid Gulf oil spill disaster relief efforts.
  • SCA donates products to the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, Gary’s House in Maine and St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children, in addition to napkin and dispenser donations at various community events across the country.SCA employees in Neenah, Wisc. volunteering.

  • The Tissue division also volunteered with the State of Wisconsin and City of Menasha to plant trees on Arbor Day; walked and helped organize the Northeastern New York chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes; and sponsors several blood drives for the American Red Cross each year in the Barton, Alabama plant.
  • The Personal Care division in Canada supports the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada - Sector Centre-du-Québec  and has been instrumental in the rebuilding of the Drummondville-Sud Community Centre.
