2011 - SCA acquires Pro Descart hygiene products company in Brazil.

2010 – SCA acquires Copamex baby diaper business in Mexico and Central America.

2010 - Greenfield Tissue site in Sahagun, Mexico.

2009
– TENA becomes the #1 incontinence care brand in Canada retail for the first time.

2007
– SCA divested its North American Packaging operations making an SCA Americas hygiene-focused business group.  Additionally, SCA begins to migrate the Serenity brand to TENA in the U.S. and Canada.

2006
– SCA Americas headquarters moves to LEED certified office space in the Cira Centre in Philadelphia.

2005
- SCA acquires the remaining portion of its joint venture in Mexico and Central America and, for the first time, SCA has wholly owned operations in Latin America.

2003 - Greenfield Tissue site in Barton, Alabama.

2001
- SCA Americas Business Group officially formed.

2001
– SCA purchases Georgia Pacific’s Away From Home tissue business and acquired Encore Paper Company out of South Glens Falls, N.Y.

2000
– SCA purchases Johnson & Johnson’s retail adult incontinence care business and acquires the Serenity brand from Johnson & Johnson.

1997
– SCA divests its clinical business.

1996
– SCA purchases Cascade’s incontinence care business which formed the core of our North American Personal Care business.  The Drummondville site is established in Quebec, Canada.

1995
– SCA completes the acquisition of the remaining 50% of Scott Healthcare.  The Bowling Green site is relocated and the Rogers site is shut down.

1992
– SCA forms a joint venture with Scott Healthcare and acquires DriPride and Sancella brands.

1991
– SCA acquires DriPride from Weyerhauser and establishes the Bowling Green, Kentucky manufacturing site.

1989
– SCA acquires the Skin Caring Brief from Johnson & Johnson.

1987
– SCA begins its geographic expansion in the U.S. with the first U.S. site established in Rogers, Arkansas.   Three incontinence pad production lines were installed.

1985 – SCA signs a license agreement with Scott Healthcare to begin producing incontinence care products in Canada.
