The terminal, situated just outside Umeå, has been in operation since 1965 and we now handle a total of 1.4 million tons of cargo annually.
The Umeå terminal functions as a hub for all types of land and sea transportation. Close proximity to good road and rail systems in both Sweden and neighbouring Scandinavian countries ensures the smooth flow of goods.
Passenger ferries run daily from the port to Vasa in Finland. They also use our cassette system to transport paper
to Finnish customers.
Despite the northerly location, climatic conditions are fair and ice causes no problems.
We handle different kinds of goods like; forest industry products, return cargo for industries and mines, container goods, fertilizer and metal.
