Margaretha Gustafsson, manager at SCA Timber’s sawmill in Holmsund, has been appointed new manager at Interforest Terminal Umeå, SCA Transforest’s terminal in Holmsund.
Gustav Eriksson, production manager at the Holmsund sawmill, has been appointed new manager of the sawmill. Margaretha and Gustav will take on their new positions 1 April 2010.
Interforest Terminal Umeå at Holmsund is handling sea-, rail and road transport of solid-wood products, kraftliner and other products for SCA and other customers. The terminal has 650 metres of quay, indoor storage capacity of 70 000 square metres, is annually handling 1 400 000 tonnes of incoming and outgoing goods and has a workforce of 120.
The Holmsund sawmill is producing solid-wood products of Nordic pine and has a capacity of 100 000 cubic metres of sawn timber. 46 employees and contractors are working at the sawmill.
