A forest property is a resource that provides owner with a range of opportunities. The goals for forest ownership are entirely individual. This is also the basic principle of the service that SCA offers.
Our starting point is the forest owner’s own goals for ownership. When you know why you have chosen to be a forest owner, and what you want to achieve with your forest property, a plan for both the financial aspect and forest management is devised.
As a forest owner, you can choose exactly how much help you need. If you live close to your holding, are interested and have a lot of time, you can choose to do most of the work yourself. If you have less time, you might want to request assistance in a number of areas.
The basic offering can be supplemented with optional services, based on the forest owner’s individual needs:
- PLUS Plan

A forest management plan is the cornerstone of successful forest management. The service includes continuous updates of the plan.
- Long-term plan
A plan, guided by the goal, which spans the entire contract period with regard to forest operations and development of the forest condition.
- Annual budget
Annual review of planned and budgeted operations in the forest management.
- Government contacts
SCA handles contact with government agencies, including the National Board of Forestry and County Administrative Boards.
- Forest management
The planning and implementation of forest management operations, from silviculture to thinning and felling.
- Forestry year-end closing
Review of the preceding year’s outcome in relation to volumes, values, quality, growth, value change, yield and other key ratios.

Service can be further customised to include such issues as FSC certification, wind power and hunting.
