For more than 300 years, SCA and its predecessors have cultivated the forests of northern Sweden. Today, the company owns two million hectares of productive forestland. Supporting the company’s industries also requires purchasing timber from other private forest owners in northern Sweden.

NorrPlant – SCA’s nursery operations – delivers seedlings with documented high quality and first-rate growth potential. Our two nurseries, Bogrundet and Wifstamon, sow the seeds that will grow into viable plants and become future forests. We grow more than 100 million plants of pine, spruce and Pinus contorta per year – plants to cover more than 50,000 hectares or a surface area equal to 100,000 soccer fields.
