SCA’s timber felling plans

Are you affected by felling operations on land owned by SCA Skog?

SCA Skog offers consultation to relevant parties in relation to harvesting operations in places that are particularly significant for local residents and businesses, and for their recreation, cultural activities or local economies.

However, we do not normally offer consultation for matters affecting only a small number of individuals or for issues related to the right of public access (picking mushrooms and berries, etc.). For matters related to fishing or hunting, please contact the responsible person listed on our website.

At least six weeks prior to a felling operation, SCA Skog applies to the Swedish Forest Agency for a felling permit. The permit applies for a period of three years, after which it must be renewed. The felling permit is a public document.

For information about current felling permits, contact a local office of the Swedish Forest Agency. If you have access to a Geographic Information System (GIS) program, you can also download information from “Skogens källa,” a service provided by the Swedish Forest Agency.

If you have any comments or questions about felling permits, please contact SCA.
