Before we begin a landscape plan, we find out everything we can about the forest in the area.
We use computers to prepare a landscape analysis, which contains information about areas of mixed-wood forest, age distribution in the forest, and areas with various conservation biotopes.
We produce reference maps, such as maps of the conservation biotopes identified in the high conservation value inventories. We also use data from county administrative boards and voluntary associations.
