SCA’s forest management has been FSC® certified (Forest Stewardship Council) since 1999 and is also certified in accordance with the environmental management system ISO 14001.
FSC Certification means that we comply with the Forest Stewardship Council’s guidelines for responsible forestry. The standard covers the social, environmental and economic aspects of forestry. Certified wood can be used to manufacture FSC-certified products.
Our forest management has been ISO 14001-certified since 1998, and this environmental management system helps us monitor and achieve the objectives of our environmental policy. The ISO 14001 standard requires that we work systematically to reduce negative effects on the environment.
