The system covers the social, environmental and economic aspects of forestry. Certified wood can be used to manufacture FSC-certified products. PEFC stands for the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, while PEFC certification signifies that we meet the PEFC’s benchmark for responsible and sustainable forest management. The Swedish PEFC system comprises three benchmarks: an environmental standard, a social standard and a forest management standard. Our forest management has been ISO 14001 certified since 1998. This standard helps us work systematically with environmental issues and gradually reduce our negative environmental impacts.
