An unbeatable absorption concept with a unique environmental profile
Luna, like our other products, is characterised by a prominent environmental profile. Luna is manufactured in a closed process and is formed from 100 percent CTMP fibre. CTMP pulp is bleached entirely without chlorine chemicals and Östrand pulp mill is also certified according to FSC Chain-of-Custody. The superb absorption properties of Luna mean that oil-based super absorbents can be excluded from the process.
Product safety is an important quality for Luna, since it is used in both hygiene and food products. Accordingly, product safety tests and compliance with, for example, BfR recommendations (for paper products in contact with food) are a matter of course.
