Luna Fluff is developed to be used as roll material for dry defibration, that is, the fibres are broken up in a mill. Luna Fluff is a dry-formed and smooth-calendared absorption material. Therefore, it is extremely easy to defibrate and requires less energy than other wet-formed fluff pulps.
SCA has developed this patented product in-house with specially adapted properties for hygiene products, such as sanitary pads and incontinence products.
Luna Fluff is based on our own Star Fluff, which is further refined to an exclusive absorption material in roll form. Therefore, Luna Fluff has the same benefits as Star Fluff, such as greater fibre length and a lower content of fine material, which provides excellent absorption properties.
Luna Fluff is available in varying roll widths and diameters. Luna has outstanding runnability and is a customer-adapted product, which we tailor around the requirements of the customer.
