PEFC

Due to customer demand SCA Östrand also offers pulp certified according to the PEFC standard. By applying both PEFC and FSC, SCA Östrand is verifying that its wood origins from controlled sources and that critical raw material sources will be avoided.
 
The PEFC Council (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, founded in 1999, which promotes sustainable managed forests through independent third party certification. The PEFC provides an assurance mechanism to purchasers of wood and pulp products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests.
