The aim is to contribute to enhanced competitiveness and profitability for the company through market-oriented research and development. We develop new products or improve existing products to add value for our customers. Development is conducted in cooperation with our customers. It includes problem solving, training, joint projects and a partnership in technical discussions.
The work is conducted in close cooperation with SCA R&D Centre to utilise all existing knowledge – rapidly and efficiently, from concept to the finished product – to create a better pulp product.
SCA has the benefit of being able to control the entire refinement chain, from the selection of suitable wood fibre to pulp manufacturing and the production of various paper products. Knowledge of the entire refinement chain and its processes allows us, as a pulp supplier, to contribute to our customer’s productivity and product quality.
