Solveig Eriksson, SCA Forest Products’ manager management systems, has been awarded the Great Energy Prize’ honourable mention 2011. Solveig received the prize from Ava Nygren, president of SWECO.
Solveig Eriksson was awarded the prize for her long experience, insights and competence in her work with energy efficient processes within SCA. She has been a driving force in the development of an international standard for energy management.
This energy management standard has been an important tool for achieving energy savings within the Programme for energy efficiency in the energy intensive industry. Not the least SCA has successfully reduced its energy use within the framework of the programme.
