SCA has devoted a great deal of energy to minimise the environmental emissions from transports. SCA has set up a target to reduce their CO2 emissions from transports by 20 % until year 2020. This will be accomplished by demanding the suppliers to train their drivers in fuel efficient driving, by using latest motor technology, by moving goods from truck to rail etc..
We endeavour to always operate fully loaded, in both directions. Moreover, much work has been done to reduce the number of transports by optimising the load utilisation, and in this way, achieve lower emissions per transported ton.
