All SCA's publication paper products are produced from pulp that is bleached without any use of chlorine chemicals (TCF).
SCA focuses on the prime quality segments within magazine paper; uncoated offset, SC and LWC paper. These are used for magazines, catalogues and printed advertising.
The properties of the paper are developed continually reflecting consumer demand and customer preferences so that it can express and become an integral part of a magazine’s profile and message. One example of adjustment to increased environmental awareness is the recently developed SC paper GraphoVerde, which contains more than 50% recycled fibre.
SCA is the sixth largest publication paper manufacturer in Europe. Among manufacturers of LWC paper, SCA comes seventh and is in fifth place among manufacturers of SC paper and newsprint.
SCA has three paper mills located in Ortviken, Sweden, Laakirchen and Austria. Sales is conducted in approximately 40 countries.
