A competition on Fiji to win a one year’s supply of SCA’s Treasures diapers has become a success. Until the beginning of May, 10 percent of Fiji’s population that buys baby diapers had already entered the competition. ”Mothers just love the promotion”, says Samson Lal, National sales manager.
The “secret” is that customers decide on a brand at the point of purchase, looking for the best value for money. The competition started in March and runs for ten weeks with tv ads played during the rugby tournament, Rugby 7 World cup. By the way, Fiji’s national rugby union team is one of the strongest of the world. Fiji has 80,000 registered players (total population: 950,000).
Treasures nappies are available in two versions: Treasures Ultra and Treasures Gigles. The nappies are manufactured by SCA Hygiene Australasia in West Auckland, New Zealand since 1976. Moreover Treasures offers baby wipes in both tubs and refill packs.
