Libero launches skincare products with the Nordic Ecolabel

As of this week, Libero/SCA is launching its new assortment of skincare products for babies and children. All products have been awarded the Nordic Ecolabel, the swan symbol, they are unperfumed and have been dermatologically tested.

New parents are among the most discriminating consumers. They want to protect and care for their baby's skin, which is his largest organ and is not yet fully developed. At the same time, parents want to conserve the environment for the future of their children.

"You can't take any risks with products for babies. This is why we have chosen the ingredients for our products so carefully, with the aim of being awarded the Nordic Ecolabel," says Linus Clausen, Libero Nordic Marketing Manager at SCA.

A study carried out by Libero in November 2008, involving 1271 Swedish parents of small children, showed that for 68% of the parents the decisive factor in their choice of baby wipes was that they were kind to the skin.

With its new range, Libero is meeting the demand for skincare products which are kind to both the skin and the environment. The new range of products consists of: baby wipes, baby wash, baby oil, baby cream, baby lotion, baby shampoo and nursing pads.

In connection with its new range of products, Libero is also starting a Skincare School on its websites, which provides information and tips for caring for and protecting children's sensitive skin.
