Credit rating is an assessment of a company's credit-worthiness. It helps investors to analyse the credit risks associated with fixed-income securities issued by the company.
SCA has had a long-term rating from Moody's Investor Service and Standard & Poor's (S&P) since 1994. The ratings have since then been changed three times. In 1996 SCA was upgraded from S&P to A- from BBB+ and in 2006 SCA was downgraded back to BBB+. In 2005 SCA was downgraded by Moody's to Baa1 from A3.
