The company is matching those donations meaning a total of USD 35,330 will be contributed. This in addition to SCA’s corporate Red Cross donation of USD 50,000. “The extraordinary generosity of SCA’s employees is awe-inspiring. I am very proud to be a part of this caring team,” says Sune Lundin, President of SCA Americas.

Sending hygiene products

In addition to the monetary donations, SCA in Mexico and Central America has sent 1,000 cases of Tessy toilet paper, 1,100 cases of Saba feminine care products and 50 cases of TENA wet paths to Haiti. It is possible that more personal care and tissue products will be sent soon.

Our partners

Both the American Red Cross and Direct Relief International insure that 100% of funds collected go directly to the Haiti relief efforts.

The American Red Cross’ primary focus for the Haiti relief effort is food, shelter and basic necessities. Direct Relief International provides medical attention and will use the donations toward medical aid, supplies and equipment in Haiti.
