At www.sca-tork.com the visitor is invited to a tour in the virtual Tork City and its variety of washrooms.
“Tork City is an exciting interactive tool that is also highly useful for clarifying the washroom requirements of any building or facilities manager,” says Tork category marketing director Bengt Eriksson. It gives an immediate visual insight into what a washroom will look like.
Tork City can be accessed via the Products and Services tab on www.sca-tork.com. The visitor is taken to the Tork City island where there are 25 buildings including a hotel, airport, hospital, retirement home, department store, arena and three restaurants. There is also a cruise ship in the harbour.
When the visitor clicks on a building, a number of “hotspots” appear. These represent the typical washrooms for that particular facility. For example the Tork City arena has a small exclusive washroom, a small average use washroom, a busy public area washroom and a wash station.
The website visitor can then explore inside these washrooms, each of which has been equipped with appropriate Tork dispensing systems, and see which system is the most appropriate for him/her. Each dispenser can also be viewed in 3D mode by using a slider to turn and rotate the image.
