Some of SCA's funding is conducted under commercial paper programmes and by issuance of bonds.

For the issue of bonds in the European debt capital markets, SCA has a Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme with a framework amount of EUR 2,000 M (SEK 18,891 M). At 30 June 2008, SEK 10,613 M was outstanding with an average remaining term of 3.4 years.
SCA also has USD 450 M (SEK 2,690 M) notes with remaining term of 7.1 years issued in accordance with rule 144 A, under the US Securities Act of 1933.
SCA’s short term loan programmes comprise a Swedish commercial paper programme with a framework amount of SEK 15,000 M and a Belgian commercial paper programme with a framework amount of EUR 400 M (SEK 3,778 M). At 30 June 2008, the outstanding amounts within these programs were SEK 13,117 M and SEK 2,353 M, respectively.
