The packaging market grows hand-in-hand with industrial production. In order to take advantage of growth in new regions, SCA makes significant investments in the fast-growing markets in Eastern Europe as well as in China and currently has some 20 plants in Asia and around ten production units in Eastern Europe.
Sales are conducted in some 50 countries in Europe and Asia. Most of the packaging is used for food, consumer durables and industrial products and is made primarily of corrugated board. Production takes place in more than 300 facilities in some 30 countries.
