The Group’s operations are organized in seven separate business groups each one of which is headed by a business group president. The management of each business group has operational responsibility for their area. Each business group has its own staff organization and complete resources for management of its operations.
The Board of Directors’ formal work plan and instructions are the basic internal documents that provide the Board and the CEO with influence and control over the business groups. The formal work plan specifies in detail which matters in the underlying companies shall be presented to the Board of Directors or the CEO for approval or decision.
In addition to work focused solely on the Group’s governance structure, there are also a number of group-wide bodies and forms of cooperation tasked with monitoring, developing and preparing different areas.
